A Note About Our Program Fees
Because we are a participating provider with most payers, you will receive the highest benefit level of coverage thereby reducing your overall patient responsibility. Moreover, New Dawn handles all of the benefits and eligibility verifications, insurance billing and follow-up that is required in order for your stay to be covered.
For those that plan on paying for their treatment, or are using their insurance but need to know the cost of treatment once their insurance benefit is exhausted:
Private pay costs are $350 per day for intensive outpatient services and $650 per day for day treatment (PHP). This includes all services except psychiatric evaluations. Extended day treatment (from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm) is an additional $350 per day. Psychiatric services are an additional expense. You are required to pay for their portion of the cost at the time of service.
A financial agreement will be created that will specify your financial obligations. Also, there are treatment loan options through Clark Behavioral Health so that every person who needs treatment can be sure to receive it.

Housing For Our Current Day Treatment (PHP) Clients:
Housing is available for either short term weekly stays or long term stays.
We offer lodging, for women only, in Sausalito at our own Serenity House, mere steps away from our outpatient eating disorders center where we offer a partial and full day treatment. Serenity House is a spacious two-unit duplex with a large back yard and generous front patio. One unit has two bedrooms and two baths; the other has two bedrooms and three baths, allowing for a sense of privacy while still sharing space with other women who are peer support during recovery.
A short walk from Serenity House puts you at water's edge where you can watch as boats quietly coast across the San Francisco Bay, set against the magnificent backdrop of the San Francisco skyline. Back within the Serenity House, its warm hospitality is reflective of New Dawn's commitment to excellence in the healing arts. There is moderate supervision provided at the House.
Serenity House provides laundry services on site. A bus stop near Serenity House connects you to anywhere in Sausalito you may wish to go, and from there San Francisco is only 25 minutes away. Sliding scale pricing is available for those experiencing hardship.
An up-front payment for 60 days or more will qualify for a 15% discount.
$1,200 per diem, 30 day minimum stay.
NOTE: If a patient discharges early for any reason other than medical necessity, any discounts will be null and void.
