Intensive Outpatient

New Dawn’s Intensive Outpatient Program consists of individualized treatment planning, discharge planning and referrals, daily group sessions and family therapy provided in a private, confidential outpatient setting. This program is designed to meet the clinical needs of clients who require consistent, supportive treatment in order to maintain their sobriety.  Generally, those who have already completed a higher level of care such as Detox, Residential, and/or Day Treatment, or those who are recovering from a lapse in sobriety would qualify for intensive outpatient services.

IOP groups meet three hours a day for four to five days each week depending on the schedule that best addresses the specific treatment needs of the individual. When deemed medically necessary, individuals in the IOP program are granted access to one of our staff Psychiatrists for an initial Evaluation and for continued Follow-ups as needed. Length of stay in our intensive programs is determined by the clinical team based on each individual’s progress, but generally lasts between 6 and 8 weeks. And as with all our other programs, persons completing our program are eligible to receive free Lifetime Aftercare. Please see our Outpatient Facility page for the map, directions, and contact info.
