Using Insurance

New Dawn is an “in-network” participating provider with the vast majority of insurance payers in California.  Therefore, the vast majority of our clients that use their insurance benefits will receive the highest benefit level allowed for Chemical Dependency Treatment at New Dawn.  While many treatment centers say they take insurance, they may or may not be contracted with your insurance company, and thus your benefit level may be “out-of-network”, resulting in significantly higher treatment costs. We will let you know up front if we are contracted with your insurance company, and if we aren’t, we will make every attempt to contract with your insurance at the in-network benefit level prior to your admission. We will also assist you in determining your benefit allowance for chemical dependency treatment prior to intake, and we’ll also make sure that all of your treatment is pre-certified and authorized.

Because most insurance companies only cover a portion of Residential Treatment, an out-of pocket expense in the form of a copay, coinsurance, and/or deductible is often required in order to complete the 30 day Residential Program. If financial assistance is needed, we can offer financing with flexible terms and reasonable rates for those with average or better credit.
