Our Story

New Dawn’s chemical dependency programs have been providing a pathway to recovery for nearly a quarter century. Founded by the Morton family in 1987, what began as a modest transitional living center for women is now comprised of residential and outpatient clinics throughout Northern California. Our internationally accredited programs are comprised of the most talented and committed experts in their fields, and we continue to strive towards improving the lives of those who choose New Dawn as their sanctuary for help, hope and healing.

Our present facilities include a recently renovated residential campus comprised of three adjacent houses, dedicated counseling offices and a group room for both men and women. We also acquired a Detox facility that has gender specific housing for both men and women.

For those seeking a lower level of care, we have several Adult Day Treatment and Intensive Outpatient locations with more in the planning stages, and a separate Adolescent Outpatient clinic.
